A Gaidai connection.

We seem to be programmed to do design, to be creative. With this in mind, November's featured presenter, Tom Perry, gave a brief talk on where the profession of design sits on the creativity yardstick and its importance & limits as a marker of who we are as creative beings. We examined what the differences are between "art" "design" and "craft" and why it matters. In the end, Tom Perry took the audience through some of his design work. Standing-room only, as usual.

Audience mingles before heading up the street to the "2-jikai."
